About Direct FX - Foreign Exchange Software

DFX was founded in 1996 as Direct Foreign Exchange Plc, a U.K. company. In 1998, the company was registered as a U.S. corporation, and from 2004 onward focused exclusively on developing foreign exchange software for the U.S. regional community banking markets.

In November of 2004, DFX joined the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) as a Gold member. ICBA, with 5,000 members, represents the largest constituency of community banks of all sizes and charter types in the nation.

In 2005, DFX launched Version 2 of its proprietary foreign exchange software - an advanced processing platform providing automated straight through processing (STP) for a broad range of foreign exchange transactions. Version 2 also offers data exporting capabilities and sophisticated but user friendly operation for both the client bank and its customers.

In 2005, DFX also engaged the Brookings Management Group which, through its product and sales management team, conducted the initial product roll-out and the marketing program. The foreign exchange software is currently installed and under user acceptance testing with a New York-based bank, and substantial pipeline interest has been developed with banking organizations in New York, Ohio and New Jersey.
